Hello there my name is Alyssa I am a mom and a wife. I have been a caregiver off and on for a few years. I helped take care of my grandfather while he was battling his illness. I am friendly and polite. I have been trained in CPR and taken courses for in home care. I have had clients that are wheelchair bound and others that just need some light house cleaning. I am comfortable with showering/bathing and cooking or cleaning . I can transfer to and from appointments if need be. I have always been one to want to help others and I really enjoy the company of elders and cheering people up. I feel a big reward in helping others and making their day just a little happier. I really enjoy the work environment and getting to see smiles on people's faces.

I love being a caregiver, because helping people especially elderly is a very rewarding job, someone need to help elderly and that's me, should help them .. Not everyone likes to be s caregiver but for me it's a very rewarding job. I feel good if I can make an elderly patient smile again and especially if they can get back in walking again . I was very proud of myself when a dementia patient of mine was back to her normal situation ( not exactly normal) but giving the medications on time and feeding or reminding her or him that it's time to eat will help a lot in getting better. Time management for the daily activities of the patient will help a lot in getting better for the patient well being . I considered myself as one of the best caregiver at my job now, and will continue to give my good care to the elderly until I retire .

I have 6 years plus caregiver experienced & excellent communication in English written/verbal. Free from drugs, alcohol, and a non-smoker & have my own car w/driver’s license & insurance . Have worked part-time for a quadriplegic and also a wheelchair disabled person male/female Comfortable with pets, outdoor activities, self-motivated, coachable, and very qualified for the position. Punctual, very professional, always do things above expectations, and a very good conversationalists.
