1. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I notice that many people in all walks of life really need help. I work with seniors because I love hearing about their stores of their life. If you show a little caring support people will start to loosen up too you. Showing empathy will carry you a long way and sometime I can be their support line to outside world. I always smile and be general toward people shows that you have a warm and caring heart. 2. Being a caregiver makes me smile knowing that people can still achieved their daily goals no matter what it is. Assistanting people that need help can really make or break their day just showing that someone care for them. Caregivers is the most rewarding job for me and everyone that is in this field because we get to do the things that we love the most. 3. When I first meet a resident or client and or patient looking at their face with a smile and eye filled with joy; just let me know that I am at the right place. The smile along with a gentle hand shake; ease the tension between us they become more relax enough for me to give them the proper care they deserve. 4. I been in the field for eight years, my first job was a caregiver providing services for seniors such as personal care, medication reminding, transferring from bed to wheelchair from wheelchair to commode. Meals B.L.D. I am now a Certified Nursing Assistant working in a hospital. Providing care and comfort for seniors that can not do for themselves. I really believe that this my calling helping people at their time of need.

I am reliable, and hard working. I am also a Christian and believe in treating others the way I will want to be treated. I have been a caregiver since 2001. It is my life's work caring for those who cant care for themselves, or need assistance and is the one thing I can say Im well experienced in. I decided to become a caregiver because I realized there are people that need help due to no fault of their own. Life is unpredictable and I realize one day I will be the one who needs to be taken care of. I believe in karma and can only hope I will be cared for the same way I care for others. One thing I love about being a caregiver is I get to meet alot of great people with great stories and big hearts. One of my biggest dreams was to go back to school and advance my education. After having my first child, that dream was put on hold but im proud to say Ive managed to return to college and am now pursuing my degree.
