My name is Jennifer and i am 32 years old, I'll be 33 September 29. I live in holiday city in Toms River NJ with my father, who is an over the road truck driver. I just recently lost my mother May 2, 2019 suddenly. I took care of her at home and then in the hospital as well as hospice from December 2018 up until when she passed away. She had MS and diabetes for about 15 years and was prone to stroke as well as being 90 percent blind from the MS. While she was in and out of care between the hospital and nursing home back and forth for those months i helped her nurses completely take care of her. I changed her, got her to eat, cleaned her so she always felt beautiful and like a woman and just spent as much time as possible with her. Because of the experience with my mother i now have a lot of experience in different areas of care. I am very personable, organized, i have time management skills, and i am neat, clean and friendly. I am CPR cirtified and have the card that goes with it as well as references (personal and professional) I have been working with care of children for about 8 years and decided i wanted to move on to taking care of the elderly as per it became very important to me. I realized how important it was to know my mom was taken care of and since the day i lost her and even prior i realized i would like to give other families the knowledge and satisfaction of knowing their loved one is safe while they carry on with their daily lives as well. Yet also i know that with the right care and love, it has the ability to give our loved ones that little more time with them that we all want/need so badly and thats whats most important.
