I am a mother of two adult children, I have three grandchildren and have been with my husband for 26 yrs. Since I was a young girl, I have always been involved in my grandmother's care. I learned to to transfer, prepare her meals, help with her toileting and most of all her ADL's. My grandmother passed away very young with complications of diabetes. Caring for those who are not able to care for themselves is my calling. I believe firmly on what goes around comes around. When the day approaches, I'd like it to be known that I am put of heart. As much as i love my job, I feel it is more rewarding to care for someone myself. I can adapt to each person's individual needs and likes.
