I became a caregiver to improve the lives of the residents of whom I am entrusted. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that, The residents are happy when they are clean and well cared for. They have the touch of kindness given from my heart of hearts, and I can go home with the sense of peace that I have made a difference in their day. My most personal achievement I am proud of is my daughter jasmine, I say this because I have lost my older daughter to sickle cell anemia, and it took so much for me to keep it together that I thought I had neglected to tend to her needs, but in retrospect she helped me and we helped each other. Now she is a honor student and a well career orientated teenager. what I can say about me is this, I have overcome personal challenges and maintained the same demeanor as a respectful, trustworthy and caring individual. The smile I carry with me ever day is the one I bring to the job to be the caregiver I am.
