I am a 53 year old Caucasian female with 35 years experience in the medical field working as a medical assistant in clinical settings, a CNA (I have not maintained my certifications) in nursing homes, group homes and private home care, as a personal assistant/caregiver privately, a housekeeper, dietary aide and an activities facilitator. I have a Medical Assistant diploma, an AA in Child Development/Child Care with a focus in special needs. Before returning to college to complete my AA I held a CNA certification in five states. Having come from a military background I have traveled all over the United States and I have lived in seven different states. Through out my travels I have had the opportunity to meet and interact with a wide range of people from many cultures, both domestic and foreign. My hobbies include sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening, amateur photography, wood working, painting, art, and cake decorating.
