My name's Barbara and I was born in Poland. I started working as a caregiver over 20 years ago for a neighbor's elderly mother whom was paralyzed. Since then I have cherished my time with the hundreds of patients I visited because I see that a genuine helping hand can produce a genuine smile. Studying economy in collage decades ago, I didn't think fulfilment would come from a hands on work environment. However, over the years of being a health aid and more importantly a friend to my patients, this profession continues to be rewarding and am thus proud I can help others.
