Hi there, My name is Virginie Amededji. I am originally from West Africa, Ghana and Togo. But i grew up in Sweden and was raised there. I first moved to the United States when i was 19 years old. I have a AS degree in General Science and a BA degree in Psychology. I am also certified as a medical coder & biller plus a home health aide. I am a dependable, reliable , and respectful person who love to care for others. Before becoming a home health aide, i was a patient care technician, basically a caregiver without a certificate. It has always been my passion to help care for others that are incapable of caring for themselves. It is very rewarding and satisfying to me to be able to put a smile on one's face, and know that i have contributed to somebody's well being. I have been a patient care technician for 10+ years and been certified as an home health aide for 7 years. I believe i will be a great candidate for any open caregiver position; knowing i will give my undivided attention to the client in question; thus, create a great bond and connect with your loved one. Caring for another is something i truly enjoy; knowing, i am filling a void in somebody's life, and able to help the individual with ADL'S and personal needs at the same time. I have many proud moments and achievements that i have accomplished working within the healthcare; Mrs. Lundquist, were one of my former clients that belong to that category. I cared for her for 4 years and was able to get her mobile and active which prior to that case, she was very isolated and inactive physically and mentally.
