I am a mobile caregiver..I work in the Austin ,Fort Worth & Houston Areas..'m a very caring,loving person..I started getting more involved as a caregiver for 30 yrs. After my mother was in a nursing home and she wasn't properly taken care of with her daily needs which included her grooming,bathing ,toileting. I look into nursing became a C.N.A. In 2003 work with hospice 2 years and then started private care in homes to take care of families elderly parents until they passed away..I love and have the passion of others feelings and well being..I have sense of humors that always put smiles and laughter on people's faces..I love my work ,I love when families appreciate me caring and helping their love ones with their daily needs.I love cleaning their homes,play any games they love to do,I love listening to their stories .It makes me feel good about myself knowing I can make a positive difference in their lives. I am willing to travel/relocate .I have been a mobile caregiver for the past 4 years.

I have always been a caregiver, though it's always been with children, I decided to try a part-time job during the summer taking care of seniors and I absolutely fell in love. I enjoy helping others, becoming part of families, hearing stories of times past, there is just so much seniors can offer and I enjoy learning from them. My grandparents were my world, so many things I love doing I got from them. From gardening, going on adventures, and story time. Since I've switched from children to seniors I've been asked so many times how? How could I switch like that? To me all I did was trade the size. Littles and seniors have so much in common and we have so much to learn from both. I'm an energetic person, I don't sit still very well for too long, but I do understand that quiet\nap time is sometimes necessary. Something I'm very proud of ( other than being a mother and now a grandmother) is making it through college. I attended later in life with my older daughter's while having another daughter in that later part of my life. It's an accomplishment I don't think I could have done without the support of my girls and family. I don't have any direct schooling in caring for seniors but I have years of experience and it's something I'm very passionate about.
