Hello, my name is Holly Rebecca Landan, I'm 27 years old and I'm a lover of the elderly, the disabled, and pets(especially dogs)! My mother calls me Holly "The Helper," because I'm always offering my help with her, people with ailments, and the elderly. I have great respect for the elderly, because they have lived here longer, than myself, and I can learn from them. I myself am naive and need the input of someone who is much wiser and older than myself. I also have shared my own health problems, and that is why I care so much for those who are ill, and as to why I have pursued a field in Nursing. Anyone who knows, or meets me will know that I'm a very honest and loving person, with a big heart, and I also try to use my faith to guide me. I really want to help and care for those who are ill, older, or suffering, because caring for them is like caring for my Memaw, and I miss her. I also see how lonely many of the seniors are and how so many Nursing Homes mistreat them, and it makes me so sad. I feel like if their is a reason for me going through my own battles, was to make me a strong person, and to provide others with my strength and I hope to do so by caring for others.
