Hello, my name is Petra, I have over 10 years of professional experience in caregiving. It is a true passion of mine to help people. I have expertise in life coaching, wellness coaching, and working with people with mental disabilities. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and the opportunity to build relationships and help someone achieve their goals. It brings me joy to care for someone that is in need and to assure that they know that they are loved and important. One of my personal achievements is the healing I have done for my husband who was hit by a Semi Truck on the highway and went through a series of challenges both mental and physical. He has come such a long way, and it is with the knowledge and the experience I have that I know he will be restored again and that I was able to help him achieve the impossible. I believe that for everyone and when it comes to my clients if there is something they want to accomplish I make it my priority to help them towards their goals and needs. This work is my heart and my calling, and I am always blessed to be apart of caring for another.

I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it’s about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment – and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there’s simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I'm a single mother of two girls so taking care of ,an helping others come natural to me.
