Hello, my name is Petra, I have over 10 years of professional experience in caregiving. It is a true passion of mine to help people. I have expertise in life coaching, wellness coaching, and working with people with mental disabilities. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and the opportunity to build relationships and help someone achieve their goals. It brings me joy to care for someone that is in need and to assure that they know that they are loved and important. One of my personal achievements is the healing I have done for my husband who was hit by a Semi Truck on the highway and went through a series of challenges both mental and physical. He has come such a long way, and it is with the knowledge and the experience I have that I know he will be restored again and that I was able to help him achieve the impossible. I believe that for everyone and when it comes to my clients if there is something they want to accomplish I make it my priority to help them towards their goals and needs. This work is my heart and my calling, and I am always blessed to be apart of caring for another.

I am compassionate, positive, hardworking, reliable and honest. These are the qualities that make me an excellent Caregiver/Companion. My experience comes from assisting my mother care for my father when he was diagnosed with multiple types of cancer. My next endeavor came years later when I became my mother's sole caregiver. She suffered from dementia. After her passing, I decided to make caregiving my new career. In my first position in my new career I was a Live In 24/7 Caregiver for a lovely lady with dementia, I was with her for 2 1/2 years until her passing.
