I love what i do. I get a sense of happiness with myself when i help others. I started out working as a housekeeper at a nursing home. I noticed how some of the clients were being treated, and it made me upset. I just didn't understand how you could treat someone with such little respect. I got the opportunity to work with people with developmental disabilities, and it's the best feeling. Knowing i'm helping someone that cannot help themselves is a beautiful feeling. I also have companions that i visit weekly. I love it. I make them happy so it makes me happy.
