I have been in the medical/caregiving field a total of 7 years now. I believe you have to have a heart to do this job (so to say). Not many are capable of doing what us caregivers do, it's more than just a job or a paycheck, It's making a difference in someone else's life whom are not able to do for themselves. I have worked for 2 well know home health care companies in the Portland/Gresham area and have also worked through Aging and Disability. I have experience and training using Hoyer lifts, Meal prep, Bathing, Dressing, Medication administration, Cleaning, Transportation, Errands/Appointment setting. Basically anything one would typically need assistance with. Although, Unfortunately, I am not able to assist with toileting and transferring at this time.
