I've had 15+ years experience as a professional caregiver and I'm able to care for your loved ones as if they were my own family, in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety. Some of my experience includes individual care planning, assessment of house safety, follow through with treatment plans of primary health care providers, household management, assistance with personal hygiene and grooming, and care of personal belongings. Experience with a variety of health challenges includes working with different forms of dementia including Alzheimer's, diabetes monitoring, cancer, post-stroke effects, skin care, mobility and gait assistance, and special dietary needs. I'm an excellent patient advocate and will keep clear records of your loved one's doctor and hospital visits. I cook healthy meals (from scratch), enjoy meal planning, and shopping with an eye toward quality while keeping within budgetary guidelines. I do light housekeeping and laundry.
