I became a caregiver because I consider myself to be empathetic to others in need. What I like the most about being a caregiver is the feeling that I am able to provide companionship and encouragment to a client in order to maintain their independence and dignity. As far as a personal achievement that I am most proud of, I honestly would have to say that there has been many in my lifetime, but I feel my biggest achievment is yet to come. The compliment people give me the most is that I am such a caring and compassionate person. I think that is great attribute for people to recongnize in a person.
