As a caregiver, my main priorities are the elders, making sure that they feel good all the time and revising their health everyday. I have always found taking care of others very fulfilling, I believe this job requires a lot of patience which is a characteristic of mine. What I enjoy the most about caring for the elders is seeing how happy I make them feel and having their family satisfied with my work. I would have never imagined being able to transform someone's life for the better. For example, elders with Alzheimer's and dimensia. One of the biggest and most proudest achievements of mine was graduating nursing school and receiving my nursing certificate in 2005. Because of my years as a medical assistant, it lead me to understand and learn more about the needs for the elders.

I am a caring and compassionate young woman who is seeking a position as an in home care giver while awaiting my nursing license in CA (expected date Sept - Dec). I am from Manhattan Beach. I am seeking a part-time position in which I can help you or your family member with your daily needs. I sincerely enjoy doing this work, as I have gotten to meet some truly amazing people in the past, have heard an uncountable amount of beautiful stories, and get to spend quality time with those wiser than myself. I love to cook (especially vegetarian meals), exercise, and I love to bake so hopefully your family member can enjoy the fruits of these. I am trained in nursing which has given me knowledge and experience with many ailments and disease courses. I am awaiting my nursing license in California, which can take months. After this I plan to apply to local hospitals. This process can take weeks to months as well. I realize that this could be inconvenient for you as a client, as once I am hired at a hospital I would no longer be able to work with you or your family, but if this would work for you then I would hope we could make a perfect fit.
