I feel a since of pride knowing I'm helping someone. I know from personal experience it take patience and wanting to help others to be in this profession. What I like about being a caregiver your daily task change. You can make your own hours. I can honestly say that the people that that I have helped as a caregiver let me know how much they appreciated what I did for them and the patience I had with them. And the fact that I made them feel important even in there situation. That what they wanted to do Did mattered. I spent the majority of my life in the world of manufacturing. All aspects of the business from assembly line to Manager. I took a lot of pride in my work. I worked my way up in the few job that I had in my life time from assembler to lead to supervisor.i liked teaching other how to do their jobs. But as time went on the world of manufacturing went away my job went away. It was a very hard task trying to find work. With only a high school diploma and 39 years of hands on experience. In this day and age is wasn't enough. I needed to find work. Fast it was a very hard task losing everything I had my home ect. Having to be a caregiver for my Mom when she had a massive stroke. My Mom was on hospice. For four months twenty four a day. I knew I took a very special person to do this task. It was even harder because it was my Mom. I wanted her to get the best care a could give. The nurses and doctors were surprised how well she was taken care of. By someone who had no
