The things that make me a great caregiver are: my ability to be compassionate, patient, sympathetic and understanding to the clients. I became a caregiver because, I grew up taking care of the elderly and doing volunteer work at nursing homes. I enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they know they have someone who's coming to see them, check on them, & simply help make them smile. The thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is the knowledge you learn from working with the clients. One personal achievement I am most proud of is the ability to be a mother & veteran.
