I enjoy caring for seniors because they have a lot to offer in regards to learning especially life lessons and different point of views. Each senior is unique and the years they have under the belt contains wisdom. I'm looking for a job that allows me to care for an individual in a way that helps them to keep as much independence, dignity, and self respect as possible. I started caring for seniors when I volunteered in junior high school and through my then church. My skills include patience, empathy and companionship- talking and listening, activities that the senior enjoys, as well as bathing and laundry.
