I feel I can really relate to a families needs when it comes to our loved ones. My mother was very sick for a long period of time. I was the only one who could help her as I was a stay at home mom. It was a very trying time. I feel I can relate to the fears that come from trusting our loved ones in a care situation. I hold a very high level of patience and empathy. My children are all grown which gives me the opportunity to work full time. I am currently seeking a new career due to the high physical demands of massage therapy on my hands. I also previously held a license as a certified medical assistant. I let my license lapse for massage therapy. I feel I have above average knowledge of the body and can easily help with exercise and mobility as necessary. I think being a massage therapist taught me a lot about empathy and sensing discomfort or pain. I am not judgemental or squeemish. In my time as a medical assistant, I was able to assist in minor surgery. I am comfortable in a home setting, as I provided in home therapeutic massage.
