About Natalie

What makes me a great care giver, is that I take pride in everything I do, I love helping people and making them feel cared for and loved in the process. I chose care giving when my grandmother got sick and was placed in a home. She hated it and lasted one week then I decided to take on the challenge and take care of her. And it was indeed a challenge but was also very rewarding. We became closer then before and I got to give back to her after all the years she spent giving me unconditional love and time. She was a amputee, and wasn't able to walk so it was hard she didn't want to cooperate with therapist and nurses . That gave me the opportunity to learn and help her feel comfortable doing exercises together, and all the other things that came along with it. She Began to get better and stronger and was happier. why Care Giving? Because everyone deserves to be respected and cared for even when our own family's are busy , I love being able to do that. I am a single mother, and a student pursuing a degree in MDS, I Am working to help others and my career I am pursuing is just that. I look forward to all the roads and challenges ahead and cant wait to help someone's Loved on like I was able to help mine.

Took care of my grandmother who was a amputee, daily routine, was bath assistance, teeth brushing, hair brushing, dressing , and bathroom time, learned how to dress her amputated area and IV fluids due to her nurse not being dependable, medication chart, naps, took her shopping, lunch, meals breakfast lunch and dinner. sometimes a stroll in the park. she lived with me so I often would watch movies she liked and shows. assist her to the restroom at night, bring her news papers and magazines, books. Painted Her nails, or took her to get them done if she was feeling up to it. housekeeping, cleaning washing laundry.
