I am a very outgoing and upbeat individual. I am always looking for ways to improve and be a helping hand to others! I am a peoples person for sure.. I am my best self when I am surrounded by others. Being able to partake in the internship in high school allowed me to unleash a love for caring for others who have trouble caring for themselves. I enjoy growing a connection with each patient and ensuring they are being put 1st each and every shift I had with them. I noticed that when caring for others, you must treat each patient how you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes. I have heard horror stories of patients being neglected by not being bathed, linen not being changed frequently , etc. That is unacceptable. I pride myself in going above and beyond for my patients as if they are my own child and or family member!
