I am an outgoing person. I enjoy helping and taking care of others. I come from a long line of people taking care of others. My mother took care of her elderly mother and ill sister. I helped take care of my aunt with Alzheimer's. I also took care of my elderly parents. Too often, older people are simply written off as useless. I believe elderly people have a wealth of knowledge to pass on to us. They need help at the twilight of their years. They often sacrificed so much for the families they raised when they were young. It is the least we can do. I raised a son pretty much as a single parent. He is in the first responder service. I see him trying to give his all in this job. What more could I ask for out of life!
