During my senior year of high school I received the privilege of being an intern at Battle Mountain General Medicine. The placed me in hospice care and I not only looked forward to it everyday, but it also make me realize that I really cared about these people. Every day I walked in and a few would call my name and others would be waiting in the lounge ready for our daily bingo or cards. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I managed to move here to Carson city, find a job, and continue to pay my own way through school even though I am not even 20. One thing about myself is that I love going to work and going to school. I am not interested in the "party" life of a college student. Paying for my own schooling and also everything else I want and need has given me a new respect and also makes me look forward to my future.
