When i was a kid i'd love to take care other people so i started with my cousins,nieces and nephews. i felt very satisfied and happy even it was just a simple care for them but for me it was different feeling. so every time someone would asked me " what do you want to be when you grow up" i would always say... " i want to be a nurse someday". when the right time came, i took up nursing. All of my hardwork paid off, i graduated with a Bachelors degree in Nursing in the Philippines. I got out of luck in pursuing my career in the U.S because God gave me a wonderful blessing. i got pregnant and i had to focus to my son. year had passed and an opportunity came to me, someone asked me if i could take her place as a CAREGIVER temporarily. she explained all my duties and responsibilities. without a doubt I said YES! at that time I said to my self "God is really good to me!" He wants me to continue what i have had started, even if it was not a nursing career but its almost the same goal; give "TENDER LOVING CARE" to your patient, my Professors used to say those 3 words, and stayed to my mind. I'm a Caregiver for 4 years , I'm happy and proud to say that all of my Patients/relatives/friends giving me a positive feedback regarding my care.
