At the age of 41 my best friend was diagnosed with Colon Cancer & my and care journey began. I feel I am a great caregiver because I treat people the way I would want to be treated. first of all I enjoy helping others and making others have a great day. It makes me feel good when I can make my clients smile and feel good about themselves even though I am helping them. I always felt that I would be a great caregiver when I started caring for family members that needed help then I moved on to helping others outside of my family and loved it .it makes me feel good when I'm helping others it could be the simplest task just to hear the appreciation coming from the client and their family members makes me feel good I know that I've done something right for someone else a personal achievement that I am proud of is that helping others it's not just for the client its for their families as well when Unable to help their family they depend on me and I like the feeling of being needed and wanted I feel like you have to have a caring heart to be a great caregiver and I'm sure that I am Caring person.
