I am a very caring, compassionate, helpful, kind and a very cheerful person to be around with. I'm currently an Activities Director for an adult day care center thats comprised of clients/patients of various mental, physical and cognitive disabilities (let's just say; I learn new things everyday and its always a challenge). I assure you, your loved ones will be taken with the utmost quality of care they deserve. I enjoy caregiving because I get to make a difference in someones life with my skills, getting to know them may it be casual or to a very personal level. I also love learning new things from them, hearing their life stories from their past and the best thing about it is; They get to be a part of your life and theirs, and also do fun activities with them. I have no experience on a 1 on 1 setting but what I'm confident about is that they always tell me how they wish I was their caregiver and that I took care of them. And it always gives me butterflies when a resident/client/patient tells me that I'm like their son or the grandson they never had. It just makes me feel special and accomplished that I have done a great job and have made a difference in their lives with a great level of professionalism and little personal touch from the heart.
