I am a patient and caring caregiver. I treat my client as if they were my parents or grandparents. I am in tune of their needs and and I have a good attention to detail. I also have an excellent work ethics I love what I do. I have a soft spot for the elderly because they remind me of my grandparents whom I miss very much. HI, my name is Nicole ( Nicky) & I specialize in private home care as well as hospital after care and have been a care specialist for 10 years+. My hourly wage is 25 per hour for caregiving, cleaning, transporting. For post op care 30 per hour. An unexpected twist in my life. At the age of 41 my best friend was diagnosed with Colon Cancer & my journey began. You are immediately part of a team; patient, family, doctors & yes the disease. Hospice, was what I learned and experienced next. This is where the most important work comes in. In person /working interviews are what are preferable for this kind of choice. Routine Dr. appointments as well as surgeries are a big part of companion care and I understand that. I teach care teams to use delivery for groceries and necessities. Delivery saves time and money. My care experience includes but is not limited to, Dementia, Parkinsons, Aphasia and other cognitive issues, along with mobility and eyesight and hearing challenges. Complete knowledge of pre op, post op surgeries. Rehab for replacement surgeries. Primarily I work as a companion/respite caregiver helping families with loved ones at home or living in assisted living communities. Also experienced with palliative and hospice situations. I'm excellent with Mommy Makeovers, Mastectomy, Facelifts, Masculinizing Chest Surgery and BBL aftercare. Companionship is where my heart is and reliable respite for the support team and family.
