I was responsible for taking care of the mentally ill patients such as showering and dressing. I had to take vitals and charting. Give report to the oncoming shift. I had to watch the patients on a Q15 or Q5. Transferring patients and lifting the patients. Feeding and preparing meals if thsy had a special request. Having compassion for the mentally ill was a big role in my performance at work.
