I would say some of my more prominent personality traits are; Attentiveness, I am always watching and listening to who I am with as well as my surroundings. Compassionate, I pay attention to and nurture feelings because everyone deserves to feel loved, listened to and understood. Trustworthy, I am here for them to talk to no matter what the conversation may be about and it will always stay between me and that person. Proactive, I make certain that tasks are completed on time or early, I enjoy planning meals and activities to enjoy. I have always, from a very young age, felt drawn to the caregiver type of roles whether it be for an animal, family, friends, and even strangers, it's what I feel comfortable and confident doing and I enjoy the time I get to spend taking care of others. I enjoy everything regarding a caregiving role but if I had to choose I would have to say what I enjoy most is the conversation and getting to know the people I get the pleasure of helping. The personal achievement I am most proud of is that I was given a beautiful daughter to raise who has grown into a wonderful, kind, smart, beautiful woman. I do have one other I am proud of and that is that I had the opportunity to take care of and guide my grandfather through his final weeks on this earth and I was able to do this for him while also ensuring he was no longer in pain, he was comfortable, surrounded by family and friends, knowing he was loved until the very last moment.
