I first became a caregiver because a family member needed help after surgery. I realized that it made me feel good being apart of someone's recovery. My last patient was a lady from church that needed care and she had diabetic neuropathy causing her to not feel the whole left side of her left leg get burned by space heater. My achievement was taking care of this wound and not letting infection set in, and helping her get on her feet. Another achievement was while I was taking care of this patient I managed to go to Medical Assisting school and maintained being on the honor roll. I am a caring soft hearted person who is dependable and willing to help others. I do things strictly how I am instructed to the best of my ability.
