I genuinely love helping others, I applied for my first caregiving job in 2011 not knowing what to expect, but fell absolutely in love with the job. I loved being there for my residents every day/night feeling a great satisfaction with myself after every shift like I made someones day. I understand to some it was just a job, but they could have made the same amount flipping burgers I liked what i did, and that is why I feel I progressed every day. It made me a better more understanding and patient person, so in a sense they helped me as much as I helped them.
