Helping people is my purpose in life. I believe it is the most rewarding act a person can do for another. My mother has Alzheimer's and I have taken care of her this past year. She is now in a memory care facility. I am in my 50's and I have had two careers in my life. I was an interior designer for Ethan Allen for many years and I loved it. I decided to sell real estate and was a licensed Realtor for several years. I do not have any caregiving experience as a job, but as a wife, mother, and grandmother, I really do have plenty of caregiving experience. I am ready, willing and able to do the following for you or your loved one. This list is not limited. • Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming and toileting • Provide support in handling basic household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and ironing • Provide assistance and encouragement with walking and light exercises • Run errands, buy groceries, pick up prescriptions, and pay bills • Medication reminder • Escort you or your loved one to social activities such as gatherings, dinners, picnics or parties • Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, beautician appointments, etc. • Observe changes in behavior or medical condition and report changes immediately to doctor or family members
