My aim is to make people feel cared for and loved as I help with their daily living skills in a way that helps maintain their dignity and independence as much as possible.
I am a Filipina who just new here in las vegas and seeking for a job specially in a health care industry.. I may just a new graduate as a CNA and still waiting for my board exam to be certified but working with elderly is not new to me.. Back when I was still in the Philippines I took care of my grandparents and I have a heart for elderly I treat each elderly like a family.I believe what I learned from the four corner of the school and the 42 hrs. Of clinical experience is a big factor for me to be ready in this kind of Job and what makes me more eager is my passion in this kind of work. I strongly believe that what you learned and what you know is nothing if you really don't have the heart for giving a care to someone.
My love for the elderly
All my life I always wanted to be a doctor.
My personal achievement is to see the sick get well assisted by my love and care for them.
I am an energetic and mature individual with a professional attitude and love providing care.
Professional, Experienced,Dependable,Caring...I've been a CNA 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours,
I have worked in the nursing home business for 26 years. I am very compassionate. I have my CNA and Medication aide from State of Nebraska. I have been trying to get them transferred here to Nevada. I have recently moved here from small town Nebraska. I have hometown values and am trustworthy. I am an amazing caregiver. I have no problems working days after 8am. I have to drop my kids off at school. I can work evenings and nights. Weekends and holidays. I have no problem with transport to Dr appointments, stores or to get medication. I can transport to family gatherings or just sit and visit. I do housekeeping, laundry and meals. I would love the opportunity to assist your loved one to have a quality of life. Quantity is only after Quality.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
The reason why I wanted to be a caregiver is because when I was a little girl; there was an elderly lady that lived down the street from me who had know one to help her at all. I would go sit with her and run errands for her just because that's what God wanted me to do, and I enjoyed it. I knew one day that I would do the same for others, who just needed a helping hand. I truly enjoy helping others and being a part of a support system for them as well. Now, on the other hand I take pride in what I do and I treat my clients like family; not like just another paycheck to collect. I'm honest and hard working, very diligent in providing the proper care that's needed. Also, being reliable is something I take very seriously because that person is counting on me to be there on time. If you want someone who is professional but kind, gets tasks done in a timely fashion, and is dependable then I feel that I am a great candidate. Thank you
