I began caregiving while helping care for my grandmother after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Walking through that journey with her was difficult, but it also showed me how meaningful caregiving can be. I loved being able to support her, bring her comfort, and help her remember cherished memories. Being there for her meant everything to me. After she passed away, I felt called to continue helping others living with these diseases.
