My name is James Haffey and I am looking for a position as a caregiver I have a great deal of experience in dealing with the public in both a retail and a call center environment having worked for Radio Shack Hartford Insurance, and Capital Insurance Group. These jobs provided me with a great deal of experience in dealing with a wide range of people in many situations. As listed on my resume I also have experience in taking care of people unable to properly care for themselves. For about three and a half years I was the sole caregiver for my wife who was ill from Breast Cancer. All the way through her care in chemotherapy to hospice care in March 2013.Though I have little formal experience, however I gained a great deal of knowledge on the duties, qualities and patience involved in being a quality caregiver. It was a very difficult at times, but a tremendously rewarding experience. It also fueled a very real interest in wanting to make this into a second career for myself. The skills I have garnered through my career makes my talents a real plus for you. I have positive people skills gathered in both in retail, and call centers. I also gained a great understanding of the qualities needed to be a quality care giver. Most important are strong people skills, a positive attitude, and plenty of patience.
