Hello there my name is Alyssa I am a mom and a wife. I have been a caregiver off and on for a few years. I helped take care of my grandfather while he was battling his illness. I am friendly and polite. I have been trained in CPR and taken courses for in home care. I have had clients that are wheelchair bound and others that just need some light house cleaning. I am comfortable with showering/bathing and cooking or cleaning . I can transfer to and from appointments if need be. I have always been one to want to help others and I really enjoy the company of elders and cheering people up. I feel a big reward in helping others and making their day just a little happier. I really enjoy the work environment and getting to see smiles on people's faces.

I have worked with seniors since I was 9 years old volunteering at senior living care homes. I have always had a special place in my heart for elderly. As I became an adult I knew I wanted to keep working with them. I have worked with several families in Reno for the last 19 years. I am patient, kind, and will give them the dignity they deserve. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy taking care of others,being by their side when their family is unable to. The most important thing that attracted me to becoming a caregiver is my grandmother, I took care of her for about 3 years before she passed on from dementia.
