Hi I was born in California, but raised in Ireland. I have over 13 years experience as a Caregiver. I'm a very caring honest person with a good heart who loves helping people and animals. I worked for over 2 years for a wonderful family and my lovely lady I cared for was a double amputee , and have 10 years experience in caring for my mom in Ireland. I recently finished working for 5 families in California, as moved to Sparks Nevada, In September. So looking for clients in that area. Duties includes light housework, companionship, showering, medications, hair, shopping, meal prep, Blood sugar check and administer insulin. Experienced with Diabetes, Dementia, Double Amputee, COPD, Asthma, Renal failure, Heart Failure, Alzheimer's. I also opened and managed a support group in Ireland for 2 years for people with Fibromyalgia. My goal is to support and help my clients. I have excellent references. Also love working with animals. I worked for a wonderful lady who was a brittle diabetic who has lost both legs from diabetes. She also was a dialysis patient that I took her to 3 times a week. I assist with getting her dressed, bath, check blood sugar daily and give her insulin. Make sure she takes her medication I drive her to appointments, and do her shopping and housework, I also listen and give companionship and help her have a great day. I do exercise, and care for her pets. I watch her daily for changes and have gotten to know when something isn't right with her and contact family and her nurse or doctor., or bring her into A&E if required. I loved and cared for her every need.
