I provide clients/residents with the normal activities of daily living. I help motivate people to gain back their independence of doing for themselves. When caring for a person I know it's not about me, but about their needs and wants. people are happy with me at all times, because I provide above and beyond the services needed to assist. I became a caregiver because I love to work with every and anyone. You learn so much from each individual. Just putting myself in the person shoes, just lets me know that could be me someday. I only provide services, the way I would hope services provided to me. Being a caregiver helps you to have hands on skills. You get to learn different cultures, how they prepare food, language skills, cooking, what their environment is like. etc...... My personal achievement is being able to work in different settings, work in homes, facilities, and in hospital settings. This motivated me to continue my Nursing career.
