I am professional, energetic and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I started my career in health as a Registered Nurse in Australia. I have also worked in many areas of health and education. I have worked as a RN in acute and aged care settings. I also cared for my father in my home for over 5 years when he suffered dementia so I understand the challenges for families when providing care for their loved ones. I worked with special needs children in a residential home for 5 years and early childhood education for 12 years. I am well traveled having lived and worked in many countries in Asia and Africa. I am respectful of others choices and cultures. I am a calm person who focuses on solutions as opposed to dramas. I have a problem solving approach to challenges. I am completely reliable in all matters from time management to spoken word and money. When caring for clients, I aim to give them the same level of care and respect I would like for my family members. I am a good communicator but I am also aware of the importance of confidentiality. I have recently moved to Scarsdale as my husband has been posted here with the UN. I have my own car and can be flexible with work hours.

I like being a caregiver because I like helping the elderly,I enjoy putting a smile on my patients faces and knowing that I make them feel better,and Im proud I learned how to use their medical equipment.
