1- I became a caregiver because each day more elderly needs help with there daily life. 2-What I like about being a caregiver is the compassion , patient and dignity each day that reminded me I'm caring for special people who are going through different phrases in there life. 3- My personal achievement I'm proud of is the knowledge that I gain caring for the elderly each day. I'm a certified Home Health Aide for the pass 6-7 years. I work with a few HHA Agencies caring for the elderly in private homes, nursing homes, assisted living, hospital offering tremendous companionship to clients who are dementia, Parkinson, hospice, diabetes, and much more. I'm a very compassion and reliable person, I treated all my clients with respect loved and caring. I'm well responsible and understanding about the needs of my clients. There safety and there happiness is my main priority. I'm very confident about everything I do for the elders include, Bathing Dressing Feeding Meal preparation Light house keeping Accompany to doctors appointment Assist with medication Accompany to senior center Walking

I became a caregiver because of my grand mother, any where i was she would find me to comb her hair and talk, no matter how i try to cut it short she would have some joke ready to keep me longer, it makes me happy to see the elderly smiles and know that someone cares,I have (5five years) experience working in nursing homes and hospital I am from the Caribbean, who become an American citizen with four children and a grand daughter who means the world to me,If u choose me to be your care giver you won"t regret it.
