The degree of satisfaction derived from my interventions is a unique feeling, to experience. Both uplifting...but also humbling. Perhaps, being the parent of the most beautiful precious, most special special child. It's ingrained within me, the dire need to be a voice, for the vulnerable. Seeing a task completed, with great results, makes it all worthwhile. The greatest sense of gratitude, has been, for me, times when the client required careful, almost mechanical transferring. A great caregiver is not only someone who can provide physical services, a great caregiver also enhances a person mental readiness and ensure a client is the centre of care at all times. I chose to be a caregiver because I always have a passion for assisting the elderly and disabled. I used to be my own grandfather's caregiver and nothing makes me more happy than to know that I am able to contribute to an elderly feeling of independence by incorporating fun activities throughout their elderly stage. Healthcare overall is my passion and to show my love I went on to obtain a degree in Medical Assisting. I am a reliable, fun, empathetic, understanding, confidential and trustworthy imdividual who has been working in healthcare for over 9 years. Little is much when you give it your all and this is my pledge when caring for the elderly and disabled so that they will always remember how special they are to everyone in their lives.
