I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, working in both the acute care hospital and long term care facilities. I've always enjoyed getting to know patients and their family members from varied cultures and have learned that our senior population is to be treasured for their life experiences and wisdom. I feel very strongly that it is important to keep our seniors in their private homes as long as possible so as to maximize their independence, overall health and satisfaction with their life.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with three years which include home health, sub-Acute, and long-term care. I am a second year Occupational Therapy student and I have a year experience working as a Rehab Tech. I identify as a Christian and those close to me say I am a very compassionate, problem-solving oriented, reliable and enthusiastic person. I am proactive in listening and suggesting solutions to the person I am caring for. I live as a Christian, that means I live by the teachings of compassion, humility, and honesty. I am personally invested helping others and I bring happiness to make sure a person is well taken care of regardless being outside of paying hours. My faith and personality are the reason I decided to become a care giver. I have a very close relationship with my grandparents and I was a live in care giver for two year. I am familiar with generational gap bonding. I enjoy getting to know a person and I make a great companion so I have been told. I have accumulated a lot of knowledge with my time with my grandparents. I am very familiar with a very variety of different card games and good books. In long term care, I have lead activity group in the past with those struggling to connect with dementia. I understand the importance of following a set routine especially for those with dementia. In home health, I have a 2016 RAV 4 hybrid and clean driving record. I enjoyed getting to know a person on a one-one basis. I have a and big trunk for where ever the days adventure takes us! I have an excellent track record of keeping to an organized way of life and very hand with house projects. I have worked in the cooperate nursing care but it's quite broken because it's about money.
