About Dawn

I became a caregiver because I love to work with the elderly and young children. I especially love to help the elders; I loved my grandparents and still have great memories of them. I love to sit and talk with them and to see the joy on their faces. To hear a resident say to me "if you can't make it, I wish to have no one else but YOU with me" really means a lot to me. I went to school for Business and received a Bachelor's, but realized I was never happy in my job. After trying out in 2013 working with an elderly lady, I realized how much happiness there was to be found in helping her. So much so, I went back to school and received a certificate in Nursing Assistant and took the State Exam and passed/ CNA. It gives me great pleasure to work in Home Care where I can serve, love and respect the elderly. Working in health care facilities teaches you care, patience, love and kindness. These are qualities I have possessed and demonstrated since I was a child, but now being able to apply it every day in the work force is great!

I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives.
