I believe what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I have. I have 5 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. I'm a registered health care aid, . CPR/First Aide certified. I became a health care aide because I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.

I am a Certified Home Health Aide with 18 years experience . I have excellent interpersonal and good communication skills. I also have a good and excellent organizing skills with the ability to work independently. I am very punctual, adaptable with good temperament and encourages teamwork. With that God given values, I am always able to maintain co-operation and work well under pressure. I can say I am very responsive, cheerful, and honest and always courteous to the public. I like working with seniors because I love them. They are my role models because I learn from their experiences while chatting and working with them. I also drive with my own car.
