One of the most important thing about me is the soft tone of voice that i use when am speaking to my patients and the empathy that i always show. What attract me to become a caregiver is i have a son with down syndrome, when i take him to his doctors appointment i wasn't impress to see the way caregivers would operate towards their patients so i decide to become a caregiver to make at least one difference and i have make many difference so far and i love doing this job. What i enjoy most about been a caregiver is when i can put a smile on my patient face or am been very gentle with my patient and they show appreciation of how gentle i am and just making sure i make them as comfortable as they can be. One of my Personal Achievement that I am proud of is one be a visit a patient for the very first time, the patient daughter was briefing me on the difficult time I will have with her mom and I told her not to worry I got this, the patient look at me in a very strange way then I go and greet the patient and instantly everything start working perfectly, the patient husband and daughter wanted to know what did I do to her because no other Aide ever come this close to their mom to get to help her that make me feel very good.
