Hi! My name is Deana Hassler. I worked for a company called Lexington for three years. I absolutely loved the job! I believe that's when I truly discovered my passion for care taking. I grew up taking care of my Dad and my brother, as well. So I always knew I was great at such a role. It was the job at Lexington that truly added momentum to the want for a career in care giving. I took care of a substantial amount of wonderful people! I decided I wanted to be more one on one. I found it more of a blessing to be able to get my PCA certification and work with these awesome people in their homes, where they're most comfortable. The best day is making the people you support smile and laugh and feel great about themselves in a way that's empowering. I try to make that day and every day thing! I understand the difference in individuality. I'm more than capable of handling anything thrown my way. I shoot for the stars - if I don't reach them, I try again the next day. I'm absolutely a proud care taker!
