I have always wanted to work in health care so when I went to college, I decided to major in Psychology. I worked at Fry's Market Place and attended college at the same. Although it was a job and I was making money, I never enjoyed and it's not what I wanted to do in the long run so I decided to find a caregiver job where I could gain more experience before I graduate from college. I always look for a job that has some connection with what I am majoring in school. As a caregiver at Consumer Advocacy Projects Incs, I enjoyed working with the clients. Helping them with their daily activities was very satisfying for me. It was not about me when I went to work, it was about the clients, I was there for them and it was my responsibility to take care of them. They all had different challenges but they were great to work with. I liked the day shift better than the night shift. Going through High School was quite a challenge. As a Freshmen, I struggled making friends and I experience some loneliness at school but when I became a sophomore, things changed after i joined the soccer team. I made friends and I enjoyed the trips and the games. School work was a little challenging due to the language but I invested more time into reading books. My ability to speak the language improved quickly. I also faced other challenges at home but none of these things preventing me from graduating from High School.
