Hi! My name is Eileen & I'm a retired R.N. with an active license. I worked in the O.R. for almost 20 years. I love helping & taking care of people in need. I took care of my mom & my mother-in-law when they were elderly & developed cancer & dementia. I became interested in being a caregiver when I was hospitalized as a child & I observed what the nurses & doctors were doing & saw how they cared. I saw what a difference they were making in how they cared for their patients & I was hooked. That was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I'm very outgoing, detail oriented & caring. I love to see the look of relief on people's faces when they realize they can relax a little because their loved one is in good hands. I particularly love meeting new clients & forming new , comfortable & trustworthy relationships with clients & their families. It's so rewarding to me to know I can make a positive difference in someone's life simply by meeting their needs. I'd like to think that I could also bring a little bit of joy to people by doing what I do, being a help in their time of need. I'm very proud of having attained my R.N. license as well as having taken CNA training a few years ago as a sort of refresher course in basic care training. I would love to get to know you & to be someone you could welcome into your daily routine to help your day be just a little bit easier, less stressful & hopefully, a little happier as well.
