I am Eduardo from Australia,35 year old individual in fair health & shape currently seeking people who needs some assistance & help to make their life a bit more easy-going. I very close to my grandmother & I have always been involved taking care of her since I was 16. I have been in this field since 2015.I have experienced a new found liking for caring & helping out seniors & population with other special needs . I have worked with patients with dementia,Alzheimer,schitzofrenia,Down syndrome,aids,hospice care ,quadriplegia.I am trained in using pelican lifter/hoist ,changing diapers,cleaning ,personal hygiene ,cooking . I like to be attentive & be quick -witted to get things done fast & efficiently & slow down to cater to needs of the patient . I love the sense of giving back out there in the society in my own little way . It gives me pride & a sense of achievement . I very proud of how I form a special bond with most of my patients to get things done easily & in a fun way. I am proud of my achievements of work with people with special needs ,old age & addiction I have been staying in America specially in New York City for the last two years since I moved from Australia in October 2018 ,it's been a rollercoaster ride of adventure and excitement. Back home used to work in the same field for over six years. I take pride in what I do and I definitely have a special flair for helping helping out people and looking out for their needs . I have been testing biweekly for covid & been negative so far & have been observing hygiene & safety procedures always .I don't smoke,drink alcohol or do drugs . Hello my name is Robin Berry. I am a very outgoing and sociable person. Especially when it comes to a client that really doesn't like to talk much or may not have much energy or excitement during their day. I learned sometimes a smile and a good joke is the best medication. I believe that's what makes me a great care giver besides the fact that I am well experienced in bed transfers to toilet/sitting device and or wheelchair as well as usage of the Hoyerlift for bedbound clients. Average weight with proper technique, I can lift up to 250 pounds. I also have a great rapor with dementia as well as alzheimer patients. I am aware of the urgency of structuring a reasonable schedule for them so they dont become antsy during sundowning. Keeping a close source of comforting solutions to calm their frustration. Such as a cellular device to contact a familiar voice or face call from a family member. I have been doing home care since I was 20 years old and I have work for maybe 5 to 6 agencies throughout the past 15 years of off and on again service throught New York City while being a mom of 2 beautiful children who are now all grown up. I always had a way of making people cheer up. I had one clients family that were so happy with my service she wrote a letter to the job to Express her satisfaction with my care for her mother. She said it was my calling from God. I don't want to exaggerate my story but I have been blessed with seeing happy faces, when i arrived in the morning, to a few clients home. With most of my cases. I am definitely grateful for keeping alot of my clients healthy, happy and safe. Especially with the new pandemic their lives are so much more fragile and I hope to assist with being apart of your families Health team to aide in your family members safe and healthy recovery and or companionship.
